Bottle Drives and Large Orders

SARCAN’s $75 per person/per week limit only applies to individual customer orders. Exemptions to this limit are available to bottle drives or any organization that is returning beverage containers from places like a school, library, sports complex, or special events like weddings, concerts, festivals, etc.

Restaurants, bars, hotels, offices or any other businesses returning beverage containers are also exempt for the $75 per person/per week limit.

SARCAN’s bulk return and bottle drive process is stress-free! Simply call the depot to book a drop-off time a couple of days in advance of when you want to come. All you have to do is drop off the order. SARCAN staff will count it for you, and you can return to pick up your cheque. It’s that easy!

If you are interested in having an ongoing fundraiser where your supporters can drop off their beverage containers at SARCAN and direct the refunds to your account, try hosting a Virtual Bottle Drive!

Why bottle drives?

Bottle drives are an easy way to raise money for schools, community groups, sports teams, extracurricular activities, group trips, and more! Bottle drives provide an easy way for your family, friends and neighbours to donate to your cause.

How do I get started?

Simply work with your organization to find a time and date that works for everyone to collect beverage containers. Most people spread their pick-up date through word of mouth, social media, email, posters, putting flyers in your neighbourhood's mail boxes or knocking door to door.

SARCAN is happy to support bottle drives in our communities, and over the years, they have grown into a proud Saskatchewan Saturday morning tradition!
