For all of our visiting options, you will need to do some preparation before you head out on your recycling trip. Let’s start with that!
Go ahead and pop that top! Having the caps off allows us to compact your containers. Like, really compact them. We can fit up to 4x as much on our trailers after compaction which lowers our greenhouse gas emissions.
Removing caps from your plastic and glass bottles before you visit saves time in line, and the caps can still be recycled if they are brought in separately!

Over-The-Counter is the classic SARCAN experience.
Bring your empty containers to your local depot to have them counted by one of our expert Recycling Technicians, right before your eyes! When we are finished tallying your container totals, you’ll receive your refund in cash or by cheque if it is over $75.
Skip the line and save your time with Drop & Go!
It’s as simple as the name suggests. With a Drop & Go account, you can swing by a nearby SARCAN depot, sign in to your account, drop off your beverage containers, and go! You can get your refund by e-Transfer or come back to pick up a cheque.
And with My Drop & Go, anywhere that you have access to the internet, you have access to your Drop & Go account! Sign in to your account to check your order activity, update account information, review past transactions, and take a look at the impact your recycling has had with your Earth Saver Stats!
Bulk Returns at SARCAN make recycling the beverage containers from your special event, workplace, or business a breeze!
SARCAN has a $75 per person per week limit. However, exemptions to this limit are available if you put on a special event – like a wedding or festival – that collected a lot of containers, or you run a business or organization and can’t bring your containers in that often. With this exemption, you can book a drop-off time with your local SARCAN depot and get your refund paid by cheque.

Take your group door to door around your community to collect SARCAN beverage container donations, get them ready for return using our Large Order Return Guidelines, book a drop-off time, then return them to SARCAN for a BIG payday!
Take your Bottle Drive to the next level with a Drop & Go Group Account! When you sign up for a Group Account through Drop & Go, you’ll choose a ‘Group Phrase’ that is unique to your account. Share your phrase publicly and anyone in Saskatchewan can use it to sign in to any Drop & Go kiosk across the province. We’ll count their containers and you’ll get 100% of the refund!
